For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope ~ Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV

You were not created junk or empty. You were not created to be a follower, but to be a leader. God didn’t create you to suffer, but to enjoy the fullness and abundance of life that Christ came to give to all of us. He didn’t create you to scratch the surface like a chicken, but to soar high like an eagle. He didn’t create you to cave in and live in fear, but to be bold and courageous like a lion. God didn’t create you to be a failure, but to be a mover and a shaker in your area of calling and influence. He didn’t create you to walk the face of the earth aimless and with nothing to do, but to fulfil a specific purpose. There is a reason for your existence and God has great plans for your life and your future. He created every one of us to fulfil a specific purpose.

Every human being, no matter who they are – where they are born, their age, color, status, nationality, level of education or origin – exists to meet a specific need on earth. No one is exempt. What this means is that within every human being is a seed of greatness. God deposited it in you and me at the time of creation. No one is empty and nobody can claim to be. It’s only a manufacturer of a product who knows its intended purpose and use. Nobody is a mistake. God never intended for you to live life as an experiment or as a trial and error; He created you to live in fulfilment and to enjoy life to the fullest, as you serve Him and humanity in your specific area of calling.

Life is not about what we see, but about what lies inside of us. When you know who you are and why you exist and live towards fulfilling your purpose, you begin to live a much more fulfilling, satisfying and a happy life.

According to Dr. Myles Monroe; “No amount of accomplishments can replace the power and the motivation of finding your own special niche and working towards your dreams. God never created you to do everything, you have a special niche. No matter how much you achieve or accomplish in this world, it will be meaningless if it will cost you your personal gratification and wellbeing. Everyone has a purpose and if one fails to discover it, life becomes an experiment and a trial and error method for them.”

Fulfilling your purpose should be your primary goal in this life. One of the greatest mysteries in the life of any human being is to define themselves. Unless you discover yourself and the reason for your existence, you will only remain a passing fantasy. The reason why you exist today is because something that you need to do is still undone; something you need to accomplish is still unaccomplished. God created you to live life with meaning and purpose, not to be guided by fear and negativity, or people’s opinions and societal expectations. You are more than that.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” ~ Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them ~ Ephesians 2:10 NKJV

You are fully equipped to accomplish your divine purpose and fully loaded with stuff that the world hasn’t seen and experienced yet. But you need to search yourself because that which you carry may still be buried in the coffin of fear; fear of people, failure and unknown. When God called Jeremiah he responded in fear. Moses did the same thing and Gideon too. They all doubted themselves and felt that they couldn’t accomplish their God given assignments, and most of us are just like them. While fear has led many of us to cave in and settle for less, there are those of us who are busy scratching the surface like chickens instead of soaring high like eagles. We need to stop sabotaging our dreams and visions and instead begin to work on them.

Jesus spoke of three servants who were given different talents by their master and how they performed, and believe it or not, many of us are busy behaving like the one that buried his on the ground. Will you allow yourself to be like that unfaithful servant and bury your gift on the ground because of fear, unfulfilling careers and jobs?

Dr. Myles Munroe noted that the wealthiest place in the world is the cemetery because there are many who die without ever discovering their divine purposes or working on their dreams and ideas. Will you be one of them? I have come to realize that one of the things that the devil fights with everything he has in your life is your potential. If he can hinder you from maximizing it, he has robbed you and the entire world. Now, the question is, will you allow yourself to die with that untapped potential or will you challenge the grave and die empty? The world will be a better place if only you challenge yourself, discover your purpose and maximize your potential. Once you do that, you become unstoppable. Your purpose is the most important thing you discover and it is tied to your gift, and it’s your gift that will cause you to be great and stand before great men.
