There is a divine reason for your existence

One of the things I believe as a person is that it takes God for man to understand who he really is. God created man from Himself. He is his source and man can never understand himself or what he is capable of doing unless and until he is connected to God. This is a spiritual reality. The destiny of every individual, no matter their culture, religion, education or social status, class, nationality or color is in the hands of God. Everybody who exists on this earth has their beginning in God. There are no exemptions. The fact that we are distinguished by so many things doesn’t cancel the fact that God created all of us, and in Him alone can we find ourselves and our real identities.

Every human being existed in God first before they ever found themselves on the face of the earth. And before He allowed you to manifest physically on the earth realm, God had already decided that your destiny shall be greatness. In His sovereign power and wisdom, God already had a pre-ordained plan for each one of us before we were born. He did not allow you to exist just to fill up space. You are important, relevant and useful to God and your generation. There is a divine reason for your existence. This pre-ordained plan of God for your life is supposed to usher you to your place of greatness. Your divine destiny is in God and you must take a hold of it because it is the one that will bring you to your place of greatness.

Life is not about what we see with our physical eyes or about what we are able to touch and or interact with in our day to day lives. Life is about what lies within us. The real life is the life within you. Man is a spirit being and he can interact with the things of the spirit. Your spirit man is able to connect and interact with the spiritual and this means that you should be able to download the will of God for your life from the realm of the spirit. This will of God includes your real reason for existence. The mere fact that you came from God means that you are only here for some specific purpose and once you are done, you will leave this realm. You have been deployed from heaven for a divine assignment here on earth and your greatness is tied to that assignment.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations” ~ Jeremiah 1:5 ESV

This scripture says that God already knew you before He formed you in the womb of your mother. This means that before your parents ever got together, you were already in the mind of God. It also means that you are not an accident. It was not your parent’s idea to bring you forth; it was God’s idea. He orchestrated events to ensure that you were conceived in your mother’s womb at the time it happened.

It also talks about consecration. Someone who is consecrated is set apart or separated for a particular purpose. Not only did God consecrate you, He also appointed you. Appointment is about naming someone for a particular role; equipping someone with something or assigning someone authoritatively. It’s also to ordain. This means that by the time you came into this world, you were already separated, appointed, equipped and empowered to function in your place of divine assignment. You were born with a seed of God within you and that seed is a seed of greatness.

Do not look at yourself and wonder where you went wrong or make the wrong decision of taking your life, look upto God. Connect yourself to Him because He is your source. No matter your circumstances, understand that there is a greater purpose for you in this life. As long as you are existing on earth and are still breathing, God has not yet finished with you. There is more to life than you can see, touch or hear with your five senses. Just find your way to God’s presence and He will help you to understand who you really are.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the LORD, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the LORD, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile ~ Jeremiah 29:11-14 ESV
